Run the St. George Marathon for Tifie Humanitarian!
Are you a runner? Are you looking to get in shape? Do you want to make a difference? Shift the Weight of the World passionately engages people in initiatives that improve their health while at the same time contributing to relieve the needs of children in third world nations. Shift your weight and make a difference! Join Shift the Weight of the World, as we partner with Tifie Humanitarian to raise funds for providing basic needs and services, as well as wellness, health and education for children in the Congo. We are an official charity of the St George Marathon 2009 and are looking for passionate people who want to improve the lives of our beautiful friends in the Congo. No experience is necessary and we will provide the skills and techniques for you to train properly, raise money successfully and have fun!
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Tifie initiatives in the Congo. A special thanks to Provo Craft, who will match every dollar raised by our runners.
The requirements are simple:

If you want to join us in beautiful Southern Utah for the St George Marathon, follow these steps.
1. Contact Halen at 801-794-9198 or halens@tifie.org to obtain a Tifie team application.

2. Make your initial donation of $200 at www.tifie.com
3. Sign up for the St. George Marathon as an individual (required). If you are not selected for the lottery, email shift@tifie.org and we will assign spots on a first come first serve basis, depending on the initial payment timeline.
4. Attend our information meetings to learn about training by world class trainers, proper equipment, nutrition plans, TIFIE, and raising funds which will begin mid-June.
