Don Garlitz Set to Speak at Chamber University

Utah Health Exchange Advisory Board Member Speaks on Health Insurance for Small Businesses

PROVO, Utah (February 3, 2011) – The Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly business seminar on Thursday February 17, at 9:30 a.m. at the Zions Bank office located on 800 North in Orem.

Don Garlitz, Vice President of FirstWest Benefit Solutions, and a member of the Utah Health Exchange Advisory Board, will be speaking at this event about updates to the growing group health insurance market created for small businesses.

From the birth of his career in 1997, Don has expanded his knowledge of health care and employee benefits through over ten years of specialized experience. He has authored materials which have politically inspired pieces of Utah legislation, and is currently a health reform consultant to the Governor’s Office of Economic Development.

Currently, Don is one of six partners at FirstWest Benefit Solutions, where his firm of thirty employees provide corporate benefits plans and a wide range of human recourse support services.

The Chamber University is a free class-like seminar created to assist Chamber and business members in the community who are striving to improve the way they do business.
