The Chamber Welcomes Asian Market

Getting To Know Asian Market

One lady from Thailand, Kim, met another lady from China, Jessica; both had the same idea: A bigger better Asian Market.  That’s how a small 640 sq.ft Thai market became the largest Asian Market in Utah county; now conveniently located on the corner of Center Street and 500 W in Provo.
Jessica was frustrated that to get all the ingredients she needed for her oriental cooking she had to go to 3-4 little markets in Provo and still had to travel to Salt Lake City as well.  After meeting with Kim at her Thai market both decided it was time for Utah County residents to have one Asian Market that carried a large variety of Oriental and Polynesian food products with reasonable prices.
Asian Market now carries products from Thailand, China, Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam, Polynesia, Japan, Laos, Korea and will soon offer Asian cooking classes too.  They are also open to suggestions for additional products that customers want them to carry.
Kim and Jessica are excited to serve the Utah County community via the new Asian Market and at the same time they are thankful for the support their customers give them.
