The Chamber Welcomes The Dream Catchers Group





The Dream Catchers Group originated from working in conjunction with a well-established program at Utah Valley University in bringing training to low-to-moderate income and ethnic population groups. Currently, the Dream Catchers Group continues to provide training and employment opportunities through Native American, Latino and Pacific Islander Community Job Fairs and culture-based training for employers and employees, as well as individualized career development and job placement for people of all origins.

Our mission is threefold:

Train
We provide training to fill gaps in experience and skills to find gainful and fulfilling employment. Each trainee works with our counselors to create a Career Training Plan (CTP) which is individualized based on assessments and analysis of needs, and what the trainee wants to accomplish with their career.

Connect
We provide opportunities to connect employers with potential employees on a more personal and relevant level. Cultural competency is a focal point of all of our events because increased understanding will increase employee satisfaction and loyalty. To do this we organize career fairs, provide cultural training, and how to fit in while maintaining cultural values.

Improve
After our trainees are hired, we continue to provide training, which will help new hires to become more productive in the workplace, increase loyalty, improve leadership potential, and make them better candidates for promotion.

Who We Are
The Dream Catchers Group, made up of Co-Founders Keaka and Nathan Hanamaikai , COO, Brad Denver, Director of Employer Relations, Scott Harward, and Senior Advisor, Dr. Richard Mosholder, Ph.D, together possess more than three decades of experience and expertise in training, education, employment services and employer relations.

What Makes Us Different
We work directly with employers to determine and provide a minimum level of training and qualifications an individual applicant must have BEFORE they even see an application and résumé. After they have hired one of our trainees we continue to provide training on behalf of the company to help increase loyalty and employee satisfaction, reduce turnover, and increase an employee’s likelihood for promotion with their organization. We also make a variety of self-paced trainings available to other current employees, not hired through us, at no cost
