Alpine UniServ provides services to Alpine
School District teachers who are members of Alpine Education Association (AEA),
Utah Education Association (UEA), and National Education Association (NEA). Alpine Education Association is a professional
Association of educators who stand together for a common cause to promote a
positive environment for successful public education in Alpine School District
schools. Alpine UniServ provides
progressive leadership, encourages member involvement, protects member welfare
through political activity and community collaboration, and upholds fair and
equitable treatment for all members. AEA
membership benefits include: (1)

negotiations, (4) legal services for professional lives, (4) product and
service discounts, (5) networking, (6) relationships, and (7)
being part of an professional educational Association.
The UniServ program is a statewide staffing network that provides professional consultants to serve members in each of ten geographic locations. UniServs are regional units within UEA representing groups of local Associations. Alpine Education Association and Alpine UniServ are governed by the same elected leaders because AEA is the only local Association within Alpine UniServ. Mike Gowans is the President, Marla Hendrickson is the Elementary Vice President, and Derek Smith is the Secondary Vice President. Alpine UniServ has two UniServ Directors, Suzie Makin, Executive Director, and Jody Wood, Director. Glenda Anderson is the Administrative Assistant, and Kylie Ash is the Dental Associate.
